Late Victorian Sapphire & Diamond Crescent Moon Brooch box 'Thursday lastDATE: Victorian, c. 1890 Cool late Victorian sapphire and diamond crescent brooch with a (relatively) minimalist aesthetic. The front has a brushed matte gold finish, with seven gemstones in recessed square settings. Dating from the 1890s, the sapphires display excellent colour and the diamonds are chunky old mine cuts crafted in 15 karat gold throughout.
