This piece is the definition of elegance and glamour. The body of the coat was made from authentic Persian lamb fur (astrakhan) which was very popular in the 1940's 1960's and became extremely hard to find by the 1970's. The fur has a distinct swirling texture, giving it depth and dimension. It fastens closed with two discrete black hooks and loops
